So this weekend brought my eye "issue" into a whole new light. I will add the hilarity of it and such after some tutoring regarding my condition. About 7 years ago I was noticing my vision was becoming sub-par, and literally 'felt' my eye changing...no I was not using drugs. I went to my Optometrist for a check in, and as everyone knows, when a pamphlet is handed to you it's not good. I have always thought a pamphlet meant I was up for a religious conversion, OR I had cancer.
I indeed did not have cancer and she was not a Mormon. I had a defect in my cornea, which to date has led me to be legally blind in one eye. Yes I do use this to my advantage on some outings, but it is NOT blind enough to get the tax credit, much to my chagrin.
I will attach a description of the defect, so as to allow all to enjoy my semi-harrowing, but mostly dumb experiences over this last weekend and prior incidents. This would be one. If upon scouring this one you feel generous, please (seriously) leave a donation in my name, or anonymously. They do lead the fight.
